Alligator Bay Rum Brothers


Alex and Ben Voss are the brothers behind the rum operations at Alligator Bay Distillers. Our distiller, Alex, started to distill during the summer of 2012 after gaining an apprenticeship with Haleakalā Distillers. For over 2 years Alex gained knowledge and experience producing a rum using Maui molasses.

Ben's extended mechanical background provides Alligator Bay with a wealth of knowledge applied to upgrades and repairs on the various moving parts of our system.

Through the encouragement of family and friends, an opportunity was created and we started production at Alligator Bay Distillers located in beautiful Punta Gorda, FL this past December, 2015. Our production motto is "Cane to Bottle."

Our rum is made with 100% Florida molasses sourced at the Clewiston sugar mill located 70 miles east of the distillery in Clewiston, FL.
